A client came to us at Plymouth Private Investigator in the knowledge that his girlfriend of eight months was having an affair with another man. Despite being in a seemingly happy and honest relationship with his partner for some time the client had witnessed a change in her behaviour and had discovered some inconsistencies in her stories that had led him to realise that she was being unfaithful. Before he confronted his girlfriend on the other relationship he wanted to find out for sure the identity of the other individual as he suspected that he was a close friend and one of her colleagues.

To begin the investigation the client requested that we set up GPS tracking on his partner in the hope of finding out the location she was travelling to and we complied. Within two hours the tracking device had identified the area the target was travelling to to meet the other individual that she was being unfaithful. Once the location was established and the client notified we proceeded in the case by setting up surveillance on the individual at one of these sessions to confirm the identity of the individual. However the case took a turn when the operatives on the scene were unable to identify and on return of the recordings to the client it was discovered that the other man was the employer of the client.

We presented the client with a full report of the results that we had found which included both video and photographic evidence of his girlfriend’s infidelity. Following the investigation the client moved to a different company and ended his relationship though his former boss and partner remain together.
