The client of Plymouth Detectives is a women who wants to have her brother who lives with her to do a lie detector test to see if he has indeed being pawning away her valuables and furniture to finance his bets and loaning issues. The client has had enough of not being able to find things if her brother has stolen the items she will kick him out.

We told the client that we would be able to set up a lie detector test on her brother the only thing needed for the test was quite a big room and the consent of the people involved. The test would take an hour and the question would be discussed between the tester and the client. At the end of the hour the test would be complete and the answer would be there.

Her brother gave his consent to do the test. The clients brother was extremely honest when asked the questions he passed however one of the question was ‘have you stolen your sisters belongings to pay for gambling’ he didn’t lie about this as he answered yes. The client was not at all angry with him if anything she was so pleased that he was truthful she had forgiven him and they are now working through his problem together.
