We were contacted by a young woman who came to us at Private Investigator in Plymouth with suspicions that her partner was seeing another woman. Though the couple had not been together very long they were living together and the relationship had been serious from the outset. Though the couple had been happy for some time the client had noticed some suspicious behaviour in her partner and was worried that he was being unfaithful after experiencing infidelity with another partner in the past.

After consulting with the client on the routine and habits of her partner the investigation began when an operative attached a small tracking device to the underneath of the individual’s vehicle. This tracking device then allowed us to record the routes and destinations that the individual travelled to in his car whilst he remained unaware of the investigation. When looking at the information gathered from the GPS tracking some suspicious activity was brought to light as the target travelled to a local hotel several miles away. Once the client was presented with this information on her partner she asked that we find out what he was doing in the location though infidelity seemed likely and surveillance was used to monitor the target.

This surveillance footage was shown to the client and showed that her partner had been travelling to the location on several occasions where a met with a female events organiser. It was discovered that the target was planning a party for the client where he would propose to her.
