We were approached by a gentleman from a local company who had been having concerns that one of his employees was lying to him. The client had been supporting the individual for the past six months as he was away on sick leave and had been very generous in the financial and personal aid given. However it had recently been to his attention by another employer and friend that the target’s illness was not as severe as his claim suggested. After consulting Private Detectives Agency in Plymouth the gentleman decided that the best way to find out would be to employ our services.

As the client was already in the possession of the target’s details like address and contact the investigation began immediately. Consultation with the client decided that the best course of action to proceed with would be to set up surveillance outside the property of the individual to establish whether or not he was as incapacitated as he had said. A short time after the surveillance was put in place it became apparent that the individual was a lot more able than he had stated. Video footage of the target working in his garden and doing maintenance work around the house that required dexterity and physical fitness that he was not supposed to have

We presented the client with a report that included the footage which was enough evidence to have the target’s medical claim reviewed. Because of the deceit behind the claim despite all the help the client had provided the individual lost his position in the company.
